Dr. Jassim Zaheen Shah is Consultant Cardiologist in Heart failure at the Heart Hospital in Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar. His main interest is to improve the quality of life of patients with heart failure and to reduce heart failure related hospital readmissions.
Dr. Shah completed his MBBS qualifications from Pakistan in 2006, after that he enrolled in a Medical Residency in Internal Medicine at HMC from 2008 to 2013. Following on from this he was selected to do a Fellowship in Cardiology at the Heart Hospital, which he completed in 2016. Dr. Shah completed another Fellowship in advanced training in Heart Failure, Transplant and Mechanical circulatory support from Wythenshawe Hospital, University Hospital of South Manchester UK.
